The Shimano Tranx Reel is a baitcast reel primed for saltwater fishing (as well as freshwater) with the addition of the class-leading CoreProtect concept that offers a water resistance never before seen in their baitcast reels. Add to that Hagane gears, a Hagane body, X-Ship, 5+1 S A-RB bearings, and up to 11.5kg of drag and you’ve got yourself a fantastic saltwater baitcast reel. The Shimano Tranx reels are suited to fishing styles from light jigging and soft plastic fishing through to casting hard body lures.
