Lightly roughen the grip zone using 100-grit sandpaper to help the wax adhere.
Clean the surface by wiping away any dust or residue with paper.
Apply a thin layer of base wax, warm it with a hot air gun or waxing iron, and smooth it using a synthetic cork.
Add the Purple Special wax suited for the snow and temperature conditions. Spread an even, thin coat and smooth with synthetic cork.
Repeat 24 layers depending on the skis kick chamber and snow hardness.
Remove masking tape and your skis are ready to hit the trail.
