Finesse Fishermen’s Fantasy!
How To Fish the Keitech Tungsten Model II Football Jig & NetBait Tiny Paca Chunk Combo
Rig your Baitfuel-infused Tiny Paca Chunk on a Keitech Model II, and the fun begins with this finesse combo!
Cast to hard-bottom areas like rocky river bottoms or lake ledges. Let it sink; the tungsten head ensures you’ll feel it hit bottom. Once it does, slowly drag it along the rocks or ledge, pausing intermittently for small hops. This mimics a crawfish’s movement, the goal of this setup, as crawfish are a bass’s favorite food, especially in the summer months!
A common jig fishing challenge is differentiating between the feel of the jig hitting rocks (which can resemble a bite) and a real bite. A rock feels like a “tink” or small thud, while a real bite is a much more pronounced THUD. When you feel that THUD, reel in the slack and set the hook hard. This should move the jig’s weedguard out of the way for a solid hookset!
Maintain line tension while reeling, and you’re ready to land your fish! Tight lines!
