Daiwa Saltist Inshore Conventional Rods are a series of conventional casting rods designed specifically for light tackle surf and jetty fishing. In particular, these rods have been fine-tuned for catching smaller saltwater species like surf perch, corbina, shallow rockfish, small schoolie stripers, and halibut.

Well-suited for braided superlines, these rods include Daiwa’s X-45 bias construction and HVF high-modulus carbon graphite technology for greater strength, sensitivity, and hook setting power. Additionally, the rod’s EVA foam rear grip makes the rod easy to control even when wet. The rod also features SeaGuide saltwater-ready line guides for durability and long-lasting performance.
