Spartan SJ also features Daiwa’s patented 3DX carbon weave on the lower most section of the blank increasing lifting power. Outfitted with Daiwa’s Air Sensor reel seats, Spartan SJ rods are incredibly lightweight and when paired with a reel such as a Lexa HD or Saltiga LD provides a compact yet powerful outfit capable of dishing out plenty of hurt. Fuji stainless steel silicon carbide (SiC) guides manage lineflow effectively and the clever adjustable EVA pad in the split section means you can protect the rod when travelling in your boats rod holders.
